Installing Cornershop.Place the cornershop root in the apps folder of the Guest databases. Open in Frontier and run the #installer script at the outermost level to ensure that the cornershop root is opened at every launch of Frontier. The #installer script also creates an entry in the rootupdates table which enables the rootupdate subscription mechanism. To update your copy of cornershop, bring the cornershop root window to the front and choose Update cornsershop from Frontier mian menu. To make the plugin available on your server, you must run the cornerShop.install script. Note that cornershop supports my secure plug-in extension of Manila, which allows you to control which Manila websites can make use of the plugin. This will only work if you make a change to the shipping version of the Manila script manilaSuite.plugins.getList as described at <http://www.baylys.com:8080/patches/manilasuite/plugins/getlist>. Userland has shown no interest in supporting this feature, so if you make use of the suggested patch, you do so at your own risk. If you do elect to use this feature, you need to make a table at config.manilaPlugins.cornerShop and a boolean entry with value true for each manila website which is authorised to use the plugin. The name of the boolean should be the (short) name of the website.
Next, jump to the advanced-> plugins administration page of a manila website (you must be logged in as a Managing Editor) and enable cornershop. Now a menu item called cornershop appears in the editors Only menu. You have installed the plugin for your website. Alternatively, if you already have a Manila website which has been configured as a shop, you can save youself a great deal of time by installing The ShopFitter Plugin and using it to install and configure cornershop and other plugins.
