Sendmail SMTP Authorisation Extension AUTH = LOGIN
Roland Tanglao has contributed code to the sendmail suite to handle a new form of SMTP Authorisation - LOGIN. Although this is not a RFC qualified authorisation method, and is less secure than CRAM-MD5, it is used by some Microsoft Exchange servers and is better than than no authentication at all.

Sendmail is a Frontier Suite that can queue and handle errors for emails initiated by Manila.

Roland asked me to make it clear that it's only been tested with Microsoft Exchange 5.5, so your mileage may vary (i.e. it may not work) with other versions of Exchange AND finally the testing has been very light.

Thanks Roland!
