Configuring fingerserver
The illustration shows the menu seen by the Frontier administrators when they select fingerserver form the suites submenu of the main menu.
About Finderserver 1.0
Brings up the current readme for fingerserver.With the shift key held down, opens the fingerserver and user.fingerserver tables.
Start Server/Stop Server
Turns the server on and off.
Process NMNotify/Ignore NMNotify
Toggles whether the fingerserver handles the messages sent by EIMs to flag mail.
Start Polling for Email
Enbales or disbales a threda whose function is to poll the mail server regularly. This is needed for mail servers which do not send an NMNotify event as EIms does.
Check Email Now
Starts a one shot attempt to retrieve mail destined for Frontier from the mail server.
Enable Email to Manila DG
Allows enabling email to Discussion group of a manila website on a case by case basis.
Enable email for all Manila DGs
Enbales email to all Manila sites hosted by this copy of Frontier.
Notifymail email addressΣ
Tells fingerserver which email address messages to Frontier will come from.
