TranslateAid plugin

The translateAid plug-in is a tool to help translators editing language tables in Frontier Suites. It assumes that the tables are organised in the standard Frontier.getstring compatible manner. It will allow edits of tables which contains a script called getLanguageTableAddress which returns the address of the language tables.

The source language is always the language of the Manila website, from the editorial submenu of the editors pref menu item, or as set dynamically by ManilaFixer from the browser accepted languages settings.

Anyone with access to the plugin has access to all language tables, including Frontier, mainresponder and Manila tables, so it is not appropriate to install it or enable it in more than one website. For this reason, even when enabled it does not appear in the editors only menu. Installation, as for all plugins is done by running the init script. Once enabled in a website, it is accessed by a url such as
