Patches

This section describes the patches I maintain in Userland roots.

For me, patches are temporary workarounds needed in the period between my identifying and reporting a bug to Userland and the arrival of an official fix through the update mechanism. Every suggested change here was triggered by problem reported by one of my clients.

Userland does not want me to make patches and I am happy to comply, provided that I get solutions to bugs so that I, and my customers stay in business.

The existence of a patch described on this website, does not necessarily imply that I am running altered scripts in Userland roots on either the server hosting this website, or any other machine.
