There is one systematic bug in very many of the scripts in this large table. They need to cater for the fact that the server side of the rpcHandlers expect all parameter text to be in the iso8859-1 (latin 1) character set. Therefore on a Macintosh client side host, the native character set must be converted to iso8859-1. This is not done, and all high ascii transfers are corrupted if they originate from a Mac server.

As a workaround, this table has been partially rewritten to handle the character set issue properly - it is in my public domain root; at manilaDAB. This is not a satisfactory workaround.
